My second child suddenly started kindergarten today, and the whole family came along. Fortunately, he didn’t cry, which is understandable since it’s around the normal school starting age. Leaving school evokes a bit of nostalgia for my own school days. But leaving school doesn’t mean stopping learning—learning is lifelong. Even at this age, I’m still a student, continuously learning.
Make Good Use of AI #

Many people misunderstand artificial intelligence. AI is not omnipotent—it’s basically “dumb.” Its apparent strengths depend entirely on you, because it has no inherent concept of strong or weak. It’s just an information processor. The answers it gives depend on how you ask questions. You need to describe your problem as accurately and clearly as possible, with necessary constraints, to get precise and useful answers. Otherwise, it’s just a machine handling information. Essentially, it mirrors your approach—it’s memory and information processing are superior, but nothing more.
Hash Values #

In today’s information science era, a critical concept is uniqueness via numeric encoding, commonly used in passwords: hash values.
A hash value is a fixed-length string or number generated by applying a hash function to input data (message). It’s typically used for data integrity verification, password storage, digital signatures, and more.
Key characteristics:
- Fixed length: Regardless of input size, the hash value has a fixed length (e.g., MD5 produces 128 bits, SHA-256 produces 256 bits).
- Uniqueness: Ideally, different inputs produce different hash values (though collisions are extremely rare).
- Irreversibility: The original input cannot be deduced from the hash value.
- Sensitivity: Minor changes in input cause completely different hash values.
Personal Emotion is Irreplaceable #

How can we create in this era without being replaced by AI?
AI-generated articles tend to be rigid, lacking human emotional depth, personal experience, and real-life context. In writing, AI can assist but cannot replace human creativity. AI will replace those who cannot use it effectively, not those who create with personal depth.
High-quality, uniquely personal content will always attract attention. Emphasize your individuality—emotions, experiences, creativity, and personal perspective cannot be replicated by AI.
Recommended directions:
- Strong personal perspective and emotional depth.
- Creative, fictional, or artistic writing emphasizing aesthetic quality.
- Investigative and critical analysis, expressing personal views.
- Humor, satire, and subtle metaphors tied to specific events.
